an entertaining resurrection

Well hello. How are you? Oh that's just swell.

It's sure been awhile. Hasn't it? I have been preoccupied with life, which is really just exuses. I mean this is an important journalistic outlet into the current events of Tyler's life. How dare I push you aside like you mean nothing to me. I am sorry. Well the fact of the matter is, I spend most of my time on Myspace and Facebook. Do people still read these?

Regardless, I am here. Thank you Fluffy for bringing me back. I will say though when you scroll down...I wouldn't do it now necessarily, I mean, I am not done blogging. So for you to scroll down is kinda rude. But I can't see you, to be honest, so you are probably doing it right now. But the thing is, by doing so you are distaching yourself emotionally into the flow of my story.

But I digress. What I am trying to say is that, my last entry regarded the announcement on the production of the new Batman movie 'The Dark Knight' and that it was going to cast Heath Ledger as the Joker. After re-reading this, I kinda got chills. Was it a prophecy? Discuss. Was it an omen? Discuss.

The fact of the matter is this though. I was excited to see what was going to happen with the movie. After the success of 'Batman Begins', the entire industry stood up and took notice. The analysts, the writers, the actors, the fans, and of course the comic book crazies. The planets just seemed to align. I could just feel something big was going to happen.

Well production ended. Good hype was built. Well we all know what happened. Heath Ledger was found dead. Heartbreaking. How was this going to affect the film and was it going to alter the marketing? Now let's fast forward cuz this is starting to get long. Well I went to the film on opening night.

IT FRIGGIN ROCKED!!!!! Not only that. It freakin deakin fraggle rocked! Take that!

You are probably wondering why? This movie was a true adaptation of what Batman was about. It was a comic book come to life. It was dark. It was gritty. It paralelled our real world problems. It was full of action. It also showed the psychological relationship and complexities between the greatest duo of Batman and the Joker. They are similar and they are opposite. They are like peas and carrots. They just go together.

HOWEVER. It was Heath Ledger that hands down, hands up stole this movie. His portrayl was spot-on and he truly became and flaunted the Joker. Absolutely mesmerizing. He was truly creepy and that is what it was supposed to be. It made me compare Nicholson to Ledger. Did I enjoy Nicholson? Yes. But it was very Hollywood and let's be honest, very 80's. Could that realistically happen today and could he embark on his chaos in, oh let's say Chicago tomorrow? Ehhh. Don't think so. However, Heath Ledger's yes. He was truly crazy.

To sum up, this movie made Heath Ledger blockbuster and it is a shame he can't reach out and touch that fame today. Does he deserve an Academy Award nomination for this role in a simple comic book action flick? Is it that good? Yes.

Anyway, we will see what happens. The movie is huge. It has already passed $314 Million domestically. Honestly, I couldn't be happier. Yes, I enjoy Spiderman. But this film truly deserves. The question is, what is going to happen now. There is already talk of what's next. Will there be another sequel? How could they top this? I have heard Angelina Jolie as Catwoman and Johnny Depp as the Riddler. Both could bring interesting angles to the franchise and both are well deserving characters. I think it is too early to tell though. I think at this point it is all just gossip. I mean they wouldn't be in any production on the film for another year or so, if that. I can tell you one thing though, I am not ready for Robin.

Well I have blabbed enough. I am off to do whatever it is I was doing. Take care of yourself and each other.

Nice talk.

Ok wow. So it has been a while. I have a myspace now, so I have been keeping in touch with alot of people through that. I will not be closing this.  no fears. but the address for that is www.myspace.com/twithac500  It's kinda fun and you can do alot more designing! But so I burned my finger today. I had made frozen pizza and the dumb klutz that I am forgot that the pan was hot when I went to cut it. Ya grabbed ahold of it. haha. It kinda stings to type. lol

Umm so my main reason for typing today is to get comments on the latest news story. Heath Ledger is going to play the Joker in the latest Batman movie.

Now lets analyze this, shall we? Ok, so the Joker is my favorite villain of all time. He is dark, mysterious, ruthless, comedic, devlish, yet somehow likeable in some way. Jack Nicholson played a great realistic version of him in the 1989 film Batman, that we all have come to know. While amazing and it fit Nicholson, perfectly, it almost was a bit to comedic.

Now with Batman Begins, it has brought Batman back to the gritty underworld film noir world he was meant to live in, as opposed to the campy rubber nipple version that Clooney had. With that said, I am so excited to see the real "comic book" version of the Joker really brought to life.

If done right, this could really really be one amazing of a film.

But this brings to question, is Heath Ledger the one? I find this choice very intriguing. Can he pull this off? It is a hard role to pull off alone. But to fill Nicholson's shoes, but more importantly be truly the way Joker was meant to be seen as will be interesting. I have no doubt that the director must know what he's doing cuz they know how important this character is to the comic book world. I mean you want see them having Will Farrell as the Joker. That would be wrong...funny but wrong. I actually think I might be impressed with Heath Ledger. We shall see. He has very mysterious eyes and strong characterization.

Moving on, comments on Mel Gibson's recent hooplah? I am very dissapointed. He is my fav actor of all time. and it is sad that he did/said what he said whether it was the drink or truly his thoughts. With the majority of the entire hollywood industry Jewish, he has a tough road ahead of him. Do I think he deserved this huge amount of attention this has gotten? no, but he chose the wrong words to say and he has got to deal with the consequences.

K I am done. Check out my profile. peace

Wow it is March 18th. It has been awhile! Yes, I have been alive. No, I haven't written. Yes, I've been busy. Excuses, excuses I know. I am actually at work right now in my dress pants, shirt, and my Disney smile welcoming everyone to Disney's Vacation Club. How was everyone's St. Patrick's day? Good I hope? Mine was no exception. I got off work, changed and sat waiting for my plans to occur. Actually, one of my good buddies who was born 2 days after me and have been friends since we were babies was in town with some others. I haven't seen Jared in like 2 years. So we all went out, had green beer. It was just good times.

Let's see here what else. I was home recently, I saw Coldplay and Rascal Flatts recently live, my breaks went out on my car and it cost $800 dollars, I have been doing backstage Disney tours, I have gone out alot, I have watched Desparate Lost Anatomy alot on ABC. Haha that was funny pun. My dad has been in town, I went to a redneck festival, went to the clubs, downloading songs into my ipod, falling on the sidewalk and scraping my wrist and knee, and getting my package ready to send to Sarah in Germany.

This is just the beginning. Mmm what's that smell? Someone brought lunch. Sorry, I am diverting. Umm uh, ahh yes. Can I just tell you all that traffic sucks in Orlando? Ya, it stresses me out.

So I have decided I want to go to Europe. I want to see the world while I am young and limber and full of spunk. I want to do a tour later this year or whenever and see other cultures. I want to touch the history of centuries of stories and events and communicate with those of rich backgrounds and beliefs. To get away from this confusing American society we live in and see what some of these other countries have to say would be awesome. Hmmm. Well basically I just want to see other countries.

Well that's all I really have for you. I hope you all have a great day!!! Talk to you soon

Ty

Hey folks!!!

It is Friday and it is my day off! Can I get a 'whoop whoop'?! No? Oh well ok then. sigh. So I am watching the History Channel. I know, I'm boring. But that's ok. It is about the Russian Romanovs and I think it is cool. Work is going good. I am at my new job at Disney Vacation Club. It is really cool. One thing that's fun about it is that the Vacation Club "timeshare" obviously is pretty pricey so these are wealthy families and Disney fans who buy them. So many of the people I meet are these wonderful families with energy, money, personality, and some of the cutest kids on the planet. So I am still training, but so far so good! My new place looks cool, the weather is great. It's just fun. I really feel like an adult. So I thought you all needed to see some pictures so I thought I would include a few of the artistic pictures I have taken over the last 6 months. They are pretty cool:

This is the Epcot fireworks show

This is the EPCOT ball

Animal Kingdom with the new ride, Expedition:Everest in the distance

Magic Kingdom

flamingos

MGM Studios

Sunset at EPCOT

and finally, these are the interns for Vacation Club. You will find me in the back middle. woop woop!

Ok all, there you go. Take care and talk to you later

So I saw this on Sarah's Xanga,  so I thought I would give this a whirl. I know I have not written in a while so here is your chance to explore my life.......

5 Things About Me

10 years ago I...
was about to move into my family's house that was being built. I had my own room. I had my own hallway. But until that point our family was living in my grandparents basement. I was in 6th grade I believe at this time at William Southern. I remember being the "Garfield" freak and everybody wanting me to draw him on a daily basis. It was about this time that I was best friends with Ben and I saw the infamous Sarah Driskell for the first time. I thought she was so stuck up. Bringing her dad to school and telling how cool they were. I was a jealous individual. Hahaha. How times have changed.

5 years ago I...

Ahhh the year 2000. I was a Junior in High School. This was the year when I decided not to do forensics. I was burned out. This was the year that Sarah and I remained close as friends. I remember having French and obtained my French name Thibault. I had some awesome teachers this year like Mrs. Hay, and Mr. Zelk. Hmmm what else. I think it was a good year. I had a lot of fun. I wish I had done more. Oh but this was also the year I got to first drive the BMW. That was great! I was still close to Becky, Hillary, chillin with Stephen and oh oh I remember doing GCB that summer and going to California. How great was that!!! I remember Sarah and Joey on the bus.........

1 year ago I...
was in Choir at Maywood Baptist and truly had an absolute blast. I met some great new friends with this. What else cool happened.. I was a senior at UMKC and had a pretty crazy schedule. I had just come off of a great Christmas season at the Buckle and loved all my new Christmas presents like my digital camera. I remember loving my dogs, well I still do...that sounds weird. Anyway. Well about a year ago I was still filming my movie. Crazyness. That doesn't seem like a year ago. I remember truly feeling close to Hillary and seeing her all the time. I missed Sofya. I liked snow. I spent a lot of money. And ya. I believe it was also about this time that the movie Hitch came out. I thought it was hilarious.

Yesterday, I...
had arrivals for my new internship. I then had to get my new ID for the position. And then I went to Virgin Megastore and just kinda looked around. Then for some reason I was really tired. It just hit me all of a sudden. So I came back and listened to the new "Lost" podcast and dozed off. I woke up, did some fun stuff then got ready to go to Joe's Crabshack. It was awesome. That was my day. Kinda boring, kinda relaxing, kinda nice.

Snacks I enjoy:
Gardettos, Cheezits, Hershey's Smores, warm chocolate cake, string cheese

Things I would do with 100 million dollars:
Put it in Savings
Travel to Europe and visit all of the countries and scuba dive in Australia
Save the rainforests and tigers
Build a new house with a waterfall inside as well as getting a mountain home, NYC loft
Buy my dream car

Places I would run away to:
Missouri
Italy
Denver
France
Boston

Things I will NEVER wear:
Tommy Hillfiger
Old Navy
Tapered jeans
Large flannel shirts
Shoes that do not match my watch

Favorite TV shows:
Lost
MXC
Saturday Night Live
Desperate Housewives
Gray's Anatomy

Favorite movies:
A League of their Own
Entrapment
Pirates of the Caribbean
True Lies
Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves

Bad habits:
worrying
bitting my nails
eating too much
taking the gel out of my hair
getting excited

Biggest joys:
worshiping God the creator
thinking about my family and dogs
the freedom and excitement to do what I want to with my life
music
friends

Fictional Characters I would date:
Jessica Rabbit
Catwoman
Kate from Lost
any character of Heather Locklear
anything that Kate Beckinsale plays

So there you have it. That is my list. Ok I am off....to do nothing. I don't start the new job till Friday so I am just going to workout and watch the movie Alien I guess.
